What you'll do :

• As the lead data scientist, you will build upon your foundational data science skills to guide the team in creating and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
• Mentor and lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support in solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and align data science initiatives with business requirements.
• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.
• Drive the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and predictive models to optimize decision-making processes.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and statistical hypothesis testing to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Utilize advanced statistical techniques and mathematical modeling to predict outcomes and identify relationships between variables.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and automation processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Oversee the building and deployment of data-driven dashboards, visualizations, and interactive reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor model performance, conduct a/b testing, and fine-tune models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models seamlessly into production systems.

• Proficiency in python.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience as a data scientist, with a minimum of 3 years of team mentorship experience.
• Proven experience in building machine learning models.
• Proficiency in sql.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Experience working with spatial data is an added advantage.
