What you'll do:

• Be the technical owner of front-end applications. The role will grow into owning both Web and Mobile applications.
• Very high level of ownership and love for solving real-world problems.
• Complete ownership of a large problem i.e. Consumer experience, Order management system, etc., and several underlying pieces. You will own this with product managers and business folks. You are supposed to be equally responsible for the success/failure of the various initiatives.
• Work with product managers, engineering leads, QA and deliver long-term solutions. Be really good in driving execution, building write communication, and org structure. Identify the right people and assign clear responsibilities.
• Foster a culture of innovation and fast execution, leading by example and hands-on execution.
• Commit to fostering a quality-focused development culture while leading and managing a team of engineers, and QA.
• Hire the best. Mentor them actively - Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular & deep mentoring.

What makes you a great fit:

• 5-10 years of professional software development experience with a minimum of 2-3 years experience of directly managing 3-4 engineers.
• Strong technical thinking and demonstrated ability to lead software design and coding in JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive to solve consumer problems and bring new ideas.
• You have experience contributing to open-source software
