What you'll do :

• Translate business requirements into high-quality code
• .Architect and conceptualize the product from initiation
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend components and services for web applications using Python, Django, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high
• quality features and user experiences.
• Follow best practices and standards for coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Focus on code maintainability and performance of the application.
• Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
• Enhance analytics and overall backend architecture for better performance.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and security of the applications.
• Research and learn new technologies and tools to improve the backend architecture and processes.

What makes you a great fit :

• Strong knowledge of Python, Django, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with public cloud providers like AWS / Azure.
• Experience with version control, testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms.
• Experience in DevOps tools like Terraform and Serverless Framework
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming as well as the Model View Controller (MVC)
• Data management experience is preferable -
• Experience in managing large data volumes (more than 5 million rows)
• Experience in creating ETL flows, and writing SQL queries.
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• Ability to work on and manage multiple concurrent projects for multiple stakeholders with a quality-focused approach
