What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product teams to deeply understand the Truecaller for Business offerings, business landscape and identify avenues where data can be a core aspect of the product strategy and customer outcomes.
• Lead and prioritize data science, collaborate with Product and Engineering ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the Team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Utilize advanced data science techniques to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights and predictions.
• Producing and disseminating non-technical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each project.
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Ensure that data governance policies and compliance requirements are met.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the Data Team

What makes you a great fit:

• Advanced degree in data science, computer science, statistics or similar
• 10-12 years experience with at least 8 years of experience in Data Science
• Proficient in establishing and scaling up processes
• Strong experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methodologies
• Proficient in statistical analysis and modeling techniques, such as regression analysis, Bayesian inference, and causal inference
• Proven track record of building models that drives real customer outcomes
• Understanding how to efficiently use and transform data at terabyte scale.
• Experience with BigQuery is a plus.
• Hands on experience with Python, SQL and Git
• Experience working with PySpark & Airflow
• Experience working with and learning from customer facing teams.
• Experience with data from mobile applications.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI (we use Looker).
