Sr Software Engineer - Node.JS

What you'll do:

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Implement security and data protection
• Collaborate with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features
• Participate in the development of software connected to asset management (or another core business)
• Design and build scalable REST APIs
• Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy web services
• Work with product team to build innovative, robust, and easy-to-use feature

• Proven experience in software development lifecycle
• Acquaintance with Node.JS web stacks
• Understanding of Linux (Ubuntu Preferred)
• Acquaintance with version control systems
• Experience in best code deployment practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid coding experience in Java or Python / Django
• Good working knowledge of design patterns
  

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and BOTO SDK

• Experience with NoSQL databases

• Require working knowledge/exposure to any of the frontend technologies e.g. Vanilla Java Script, jQuery, Angular or React or Vue.js or Backbone.js, etc
