What you'll do:

• Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with the development and product management teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the creation of test strategies and plans.
• Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, including test objectives, scope, test environment requirements, and schedules. Ensure that test plans are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
• Test Case Design: Develop, review, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data to effectively cover all aspects of the software under test.
• Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, record test results, and thoroughly document defects. Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes.
• Automated Testing: Leverage automation tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Performance Testing: Design and execute performance and load tests to evaluate system performance and reliability.
• Test Reporting: Prepare and communicate test reports, including test progress, test coverage, defect reports, and release readiness.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the testing process and methodology to enhance overall product quality.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.

What makes you a great fit:

• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer, including a minimum of 4 years in a senior or lead role. 
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices. 
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). 
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). 
• Solid understanding of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Java, Python). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
