What you'll do:

• Backend development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services in Golang. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate our web service into third-party game clients. Communicate progress regularly and seek clarification on requirements when necessary.
• API development: Help design and implement HTTP APIs to support SDK-related functionalities for game studio partners.
• Database design: Design scalable database collections and queries.
• Security: Implement and be a champion of security best practices in the backend architecture.
• Roadmap Paving: Contribute to the development of the backend roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
• Code review: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of our development processes.

What makes you a great fit:

• Software engineering experience: 5+ years professional experience writing software.
• Golang experience: 3+ years experience building Golang applications. Experience with AWS SDK, Kubernetes, and Redis is also desired.
• Database mastery: High level of proficiency and hands-on experience with using databases, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, aggregation framework, scaling, sharding, and transactions.
• Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work with limited supervision across different time zones, to communicate progress regularly, and to seek clarification on requirements when necessary.
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the team. Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with remote team members, both written and verbally, providing progress updates, flagging potential roadblocks. and fostering positive and productive working relationships.
