What you'll do:

• Managing and evolving Kubernetes clusters
• Using configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef) to reliably build infrastructure and keep it up to date
• Administering AWS resources, in particular ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, Kinesis, RDS and Elasticache
• Monitoring and maintaining datastores such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka
• Automating tasks with custom software (Python, Ruby)
• Mentoring and helping earlier-career team members
• Assisting engineering teams with infrastructure consultation

What makes you a great fit:

• 5+ years of operational experience with open source tech like Kubernetes and Docker
  
• 5+ years of experience with datastores such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and MySQL
• Configuration management with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar tech
• 5+ years of experience in managing and maintaining AWS infrastructures.
• 6+ years of experience in managing linux based systems.
• 6+ years of professional programming experience
• Kubernetes Lifecycle Management including Load Balancer Integration, Certificate Management, IAM integrations, Secret Management, Continuous Code Deployment (helm/flux/argocd)
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkin, Github Actions, GitLab, etc.
• Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Sumo Logic, DataDog, Prometheus and Grafana
