What you'll do:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Build and maintain automation tests on all internal platforms and products
• Proactively report bugs so that the developers can fix it and work towards development of automated regression test suites
• Work on monitoring the quality of the products and provide insights on the issues raised
• Ensure the tested solutions complies with highest testing standards
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools (Selenium)
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally
• Responsible for designing and developing automated tools or frameworks
• Responsible for writing automation testing scripts

What makes you a great fit:

• BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college with 5-7 years of experience as a QA engineer/tester
• Experience in writing test plans and being a part of the entire software development lifecycle
• Mandatory Experience in Automation testing like Selenium
• Experience in designing and writing automation testing scripts
• Hands-on experience with both white box, black box testing, UAT, and regression testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and manual testing
• Experience in Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured (Java/Python) will be an added advantage
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Knowledge of any version control system (e.g., SVN, git)
• Experience in developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Experience in manual and automation testing
• Knowledge of API and Database testing is a plus
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
