What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to support various testing phases, such as unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and identify critical test scenarios
- Integrate test automation suites into the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to ensure regular and efficient testing
- Participate in the development of test plans and strategies, considering various testing types, test data requirements, and test environments
- Assist in defining and implementing test methodologies, processes, and best practices to achieve high test coverage and deliver reliable software
- Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications
- Analyze test results, investigate issues, and work with the development team to prioritize and address identified defects
- Generate comprehensive test reports and document test results for stakeholders, including clear bug reports and status updates
- Continuously enhance and optimize the test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Actively participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and provide feedback to team members to promote a culture of quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure a shared understanding of testing goals and objectives
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively to project stakeholders and management
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in languages like Java and JavaScript
- 2-5 years of Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks like cucumber bdd or test ng
- 2-5 years of Experience in web browser automation and testing using selenium, cypress etc
- Familiarity with end to end testing like UI/UX, API, integration, performance and stress testing.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices like Jenkins
