What you will do :-

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools and frameworks such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Create test plans and test cases for API testing based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute API tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our APIs.
• Continuously improve and expand the API test suite to cover new features and edge cases.
• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure the stability of our software products.
• Identify and document test cases for regression testing based on application changes and updates.
• Execute regression tests to identify and report any issues or regressions introduced during development.
• Collaborate with the QA team to define and implement an effective QA strategy for API and regression testing.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of testing efforts with project goals.
• Identify and report defects with clear and concise descriptions.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are resolved and retested in a timely manner.
• Verify and validate defect fixes as part of the regression testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to QA and automation.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation enhancements.
