Project Lead / DESIM

What will you do:

• In this role, you’ll be working on projects coming from stakeholders such as Traders, Quants, Strategists and Portfolio managers. 
• You’ll be following agile software development methodologies for working on projects. 
• You’ll also be coordinating with cross teams to resolve project dependencies. 
• Moreover, you’ll be working with Operations team to maintain stable production environment. 
• Additionally, you’ll be documenting and improving the current dev processes/practices to improve business operations. 
• This position is in a agile environment with direct exposure to the trading business. 
• You’ll be involved in various aspects of financial markets and become intimately involved with the technology and data that runs a leading financial firm.

What makes you a great fit:

• The candidate should have a graduate degree in Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science/Electronics
• Candidate should have four to seven years of professional work experience
• The candidate should have good experience in Python or any other programming language. Our primary environment is Python on Linux. Previous python experience is not required, although we are looking for an established track record of successful programming projects
• Candidates with experience in BI tools/Data Analytics and UI tech stack (React JS/Node) will have an added advantage
• Prior experience in full stack and experience or familiarity with financial markets is also an added advantage
