What you'll do:

• Accountable for broad software design, code quality, and architecture decisions
• Lead and direct architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews for functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance
• Own and evolve Data Integration strategy in areas that include, but are not limited to technical architecture and solutions, standards, principles, processes and methodologies, quality
• Contribute towards the long-term technical roadmap for solution area
• Investigate and drive analysis for new innovations and technologies
• Should have experience developing and maintaining high-scale front-end and/or back-end services in a standard SOA.
• Deep understanding of operational excellence and know-how to how to improve the SLI/SLO for a distributed ecosystem.
• Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.

• 8-10+ years of software development experience with 4+ years of software development experience in developing Micro Services using Ruby-on-Rails, building Frontend Applications using React JS, AWS, OCI cloud-native distributed systems.
• Primary technical skills should include deep dive knowledge and working experience with Ruby as must and Java, and Scala as preferred ones.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python should be considered as “Nice to Have”.
• Experienced with API and service-to-service communication protocols along with developing highly reliable services.
• Real-time exposure and knowledge he/she has in terms of system availability, and scalability of distributed systems (primarily Cloud). Also, experience in practicing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and deployments on multi-zone and multi-countries would be highly preferred.
• Troubleshoot issues observed through internal monitoring (Telemetry) or reported by customers and work on both corrective and preventive solutions.
