What you'll do:

• Design and develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Improve operations by conducting technical analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Lead team members to achieve their best by supporting a culture of mentorship, continual learning, knowledge sharing of best practices, and contributing to the positive discussion and debate of ideas.
• Update team knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Support customer escalations and resolve production incidents to improve customer success.

What makes you a great fit:

• 5+ years of experience with Java, and its idioms and design patterns.
  
• Experience working with Java v11 & v17, XML, JSON, API-client design
• Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
  
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment tooling such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or others
• Experience designing SDK, Java libraries, application software framework
  
• Experience working with Test-Driven Development.
• Experience with containers (i.e. Docker)
• Experience working with remote / distributed teams and projects.
