What you'll do:

• Design, build, and optimize data systems and pipelines on cloud platforms (experience with GCP preferred).

• Develop algorithms and prototypes to unlock insights from large datasets (experience with geospatial models is a plus).

• Implement and manage tasks using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.

• Support data organization and management in a data warehouse environment (Snowflake/BigQuery).

• Develop efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data processing and integration.

What makes you a great fit:

• 3+ years of application development experience.

• 1-2 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, including BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, PubSub, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Apache Airflow.

• Proficiency in any of the Java/Node/Go-lang/Python programming languages (2+ years).

• Collaborate with data teams to analyze, model, and integrate datasets from multiple sources.

• Experience with data extraction, loading, transformation, cleaning, and validation.

• Architect and implement data and analytics platforms on cloud environments, specifically GCP.

• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.

• Experience with MapReduce or MPP systems.

• Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Carto) is advantageous.
