What you’ll do:

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines on the Azure cloud platform.
• Develop and deploy data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Build and maintain data lake environments on Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Integrate data from various sources and formats into the Azure ecosystem.
• Implement data security and access controls in compliance with organizational policies.
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot and debug data engineering issues in a timely manner.
• Design and implement data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data marts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure cloud services and industry trends in data engineering.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Lake Analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL Data Warehouse) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
